Cold Pressed Soap
A commonly misused term in soap making that usually refers to cold process soap, not a separate method. “Cold pressed” is borrowed from the way some oils are extracted (cold-pressed oils) and applied to soap as a marketing phrase. In most cases, soaps labeled “cold pressed” are made using the cold process method—combining oils and lye at low temperatures and allowing them to saponify naturally.
