Color Bleeding (Bath Bombs)
Colors can run or “bleed” into each other in multi-colored bath bombs when there’s excess moisture or incompatible/mixed colorant types, causing pigments to migrate between layers or from embeds into the surrounding bomb—especially if the bomb hasn’t fully dried. To prevent this, keep liquids to a minimum, let each layer reach the right consistency (and set up slightly) before adding the next, dry bombs thoroughly, and use the same type of colorant throughout (including embeds) for the best results.
